The school is owned and managed by the Catholic Diocese of Pathanamthitta. One of the primary apostolates of the Malankara Catholic Church concerns its service in the field of education. For the last 75 years, the Church has been rendering excellent service to the society by providing quality education to thousands of students across the nation. It’s goal in the educational undertakings has always been something more than the ordinary, something more than the mediocre.
Through its educational institutions, the Diocese of Pathanamthitta has tried to reach out to all sections of the society, without compromising on quality, values and excellence. The educational programme of the Diocese of Pathanamthitta is guided by principles and the universal values of the Gospels.
His Excellency Most Rev. Dr. Yoohanon Mar Chrysostom, Bishop of the Diocese of Pathanamthitta is the patron of the School. There are two streams of schools under the ownership of the Diocese of Pathanamthitta, namely, CBSE Schools and the State Syllabus schools. The State Syllabus Schools function in the aided sector.
The school functions under the Malankara Catholic Educational Society, which is a registered society for the unaided CBSE schools belonging to the Diocese of Pathanamthitta. The syllabus followed in the school is that of the Central Board of Secondary Education in India.

The School offers CBSE syllabus which is commonly used all over India and abroad. At present there are classes from pre-KG to Std VIII. The medium of instruction is English.
